Capel Arena Basketball Court
The FSU Men's and Women's basketball teams heat up the
Basketball court on game nights. With its 4,000 seats, Felton J. Capel
Arena can hold lots of fans.
During the season, from November through March, the
Broncos sweat it out on the court, but the FSU basketball court isnt just
used during basketball games. The area serves several purposes. On
graduation day, the basketball floor is removed and the ceremony is held
in the arena. Other events can also be held in the arena.
Capel Arena is named after Felton J, Capel, who chaired
FSU's board of trustees and later served as vice chairman of the school's
foundation board. Capel is also the father of Jeff Capel, Assistant Coach
for the Charlotte Bobcats NBA team. |
