If you are an Education student, you will surely
frequent FSUs Butler Building, named after Dr. George Lee Butler, a
former Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Butler Building, located in
the heart of campus, houses the School of Education, among other
university offices, such as the Information Technology offices.
Fayetteville State is committed to offering a quality
education to its more than 6,000 students. FSU offers 43 different
undergraduate study areas, 22 Masters areas, and 1 doctoral program. With
200 full-time faculty, FSU is proud to offer a 21 to 1 teacher to student
ratio. Ninety-three percent of the 200 full-time professors hold doctorate
degrees or first professional degrees.
