WELCOME


At the undergraduate level, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers three programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science. These degree programs are designed so that all students take the basic University College Core courses, major courses in Mathematics and Computer Science, and flexible elective choices. The department also offers Associate Degrees and minors in Mathematics and Computer Science, a Pre-Engineering Program, and courses in Statistics. These programs of study prepare graduates for careers in teaching, business, industry, and government, or pursuing further study. At the graduate level, the Department offers two programs in Mathematics and Mathematics Teaching.

Our Department currently has 33 full-time faculty/staff members. Dr. Vinod Arya is the Chairman of the Department. We are located on the third floor in the School of Business and Economics Building.
