On behalf of the School of Business and Economics, we want to personally welcome you to Fayetteville State University! Our curricular programs and small class sizes will provide you with the opportunity to enhance your communication, technological, and problem-solving skills. You will also have many opportunities to get to know your professors both inside and outside of the classroom and hone your team-building and leadership skills through our student organizations.  More importantly, our accreditation by AACSB International, the premier accrediting agency for business programs around the world, points to the quality of the education that you will receive here within the SBE.

Recent Events

Future SBE Graduate Lands Job at FDIC

MIS and Finance double major Garry Simpson who graduates this spring landed a job at FDIC http://www.fdic.gov/ as a database/SQL programmer! He starts in June. His job offer came as a result of initial interviews he had at the Thurgood Marshall Conference in New York last semester which some FSU business students were selected to attend.

Miss Brittany Harrison and Mr. Ivory Anthony Osbourne, 2011 FSU graduates and honors students in Accounting, were accepted into the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade in Shanghai, China. Miss Harrison and Mr. Osbourne will pursue a Masters degree in International Business. Both students participated in the Thurgood Marshall Initiative and studies abroad (in China) during the 2008 summer term.

Former MBA Student Receives a Medallion

Dr. Ashok Jain, a 2004 graduate of Fayetteville State University’s MBA program, is one of three worldwide recipients of the prestigious 2010 Beta Gamma Sigma Medallion for Entrepreneurship Award. >>Read More

The Lloyd V. Hackley Endowment for the Study of Capitalism and Free Enterprise at Fayetteville State University is pleased to announce a supply and demand music video contest.
