Description: |
We live in a time of unprecedented technological development. At the same time, we face a range of potentially catastrophic environmental threats. How can science help to address the most pressing concerns of the 21st century? What cultural and political factors stand in the way of change? In this Learning Community, we will address these questions while learning about rewarding careers in the sciences. In NSCI 110, students will gain useful skills that set the foundation for courses in a range of majors in the sciences. ENGL 110 will provide opportunities for practicing and refining the writing and communication skills desired by employers. Students in UNIV 101 will learn how Fayetteville State University can help them enter rewarding careers in growing industries. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
