The purpose for conducting assessment at FSU is to serve the current and emerging assessment needs of students on the continuum from the freshman to the senior year; to establish partnerships with academic and student service areas in order to connect resources that will benefit our students.

The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) annually assesses the extent to which undergraduate students are involved in educational practices empirically linked to high levels of learning and development.
