A student successfully completing the program should qualify for entry-level professional accounting jobs in business, government, and public accounting, as well as for continued advanced study in accounting and business.

Our diverse faculty are life long educators but also have practical experiences in the areas of auditing, law, government, and taxation. Our faculty develops state of the art courses through their involvement in continuing professional education programs, academic research, collaboration with colleagues and community activities. |

The Accounting Department strives to provide students with a well rounded experience that includes solid academic preparation, exposure to professionals in accounting, legal, tax and government fields, quality internship programs and access to regional and national job fairs.
The program emphasizes the learning of the concepts and practices of accounting along with the development of analytical skills in areas of data processing, management, mathematics, and statistics.
