Delano Howard Berry earned a Ph.D. degree in Accounting at the University of Kentucky. He has a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from East Carolina Univrsity. Dr. Berry also has a Master of Public Affairs degree from North Carolina State University at Raleigh. He is a Certified Management Accountant and holds membershipo in the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, the American Accounting Association, and the national honorary business fraternity, Beta Gamma Sigma. Prior to entering academic, Dr. Berry worked in private industry and state government. His academic experience includes faculty positions, in addition to Fayetteville State University, at East Carolina University, the University of Kentucky, and Florida International University. His teaching interests are Cost/managerial accounting and Governmental/Not-for-Profit Accounting. His research interests include issues related to accounting and financial reporting by state and local governments and issues related to performance measurement for state and local governments.
