Traveling I-95 South from Durham, Raleigh,
Rocky Mount, Greenville:
Take Exit 56 - to Hwy 301 (Business 95).
At the first intersection (Sandpiper Seafood will be on the right), turn right
on Grove Street which will undergo a name change at the 3rd traffic light,
becoming Rowan Street.
After the next (or fourth traffic light from the Sandpiper) and as you go over
the train overpass, get in the right lane and exit off Rowan to the right
BEFORE the next traffic light you can see (which is on Bragg Boulevard).
This is a short exit ramp to a traffic light through which you will proceed
straight ahead to Murchison Road. FSU is approximately 1 mile ahead, on the
right.
- Traveling I-95 North from South Carolina,
Lumberton, Whiteville:
Take Exit 49 to Highway 53 - there is a "Fayetteville State University" exit
sign.
Turn left at the exit traffic light and follow Highway 53 (Cedar Creek Road)
for several miles, past the Monsanto Plant, and a Winn-Dixie shopping plaza.
At the next traffic light, proceed straight through, crossing "old" Highway 24
or Clinton Road.
Turn left at the next light onto "new" Highway 24 which becomes Grove Street.
Continue through the next intersection (Sandpiper Seafood will be on the
right), staying on Grove Street which will undergo a name change at the 3rd
traffic light, becoming Rowan Street.
After the next (or fourth traffic light from the Sandpiper) and as you go over
the train overpass, get in the right lane and exit off Rowan to the right
BEFORE the next traffic light you can see (which is on Bragg Boulevard).
This is a short exit ramp to a traffic light through which you will proceed
straight ahead to Murchison Road. FSU is approximately 1 mile ahead, on the
right.

- Traveling Highway 24 West from Clinton,
Jacksonville, Havelock:
As you enter Fayetteville’s city limits, stay on Hwy 24 (which becomes
Grove Street) through three intersections (Sandpiper Seafood will be on the
right at the third light). Stay on Grove Street which will undergo a name
change at the 3rd traffic light, becoming Rowan Street.
After the next (or fourth traffic light from the Sandpiper) and as you go over
the train overpass, get in the right lane and exit off Rowan to the right
BEFORE the next traffic light you can see (which is on Bragg Boulevard).
This is a short exit ramp to a traffic light through which you will proceed
straight ahead to Murchison Road. FSU is approximately 1 mile ahead, on the
right.

- Traveling East, Northeast from Charlotte,
Rockingham, Laurinburg:
Connect with Highway 401 North, through Raeford.
After passing Seventy-First High School on your left, within a few miles you
will approach the 401 By-pass which is a T-intersection to the left.
Turn left and continue on the By-pass, passing by all the shopping centers,
i.e., Home Depot, Target, Best Buys, Cross Creek Mall, Wal-Mart Superstore,
etc.
After the Wal-Mart Superstore traffic lights , you will go under an overpass
and proceed through the next 3 traffic lights.
The fourth traffic light is the Murchison Road intersection: landmarks include
a Hardee’s on the left side of the street, and two gas stations opposite. Turn
right on Murchison Road.
At the second traffic light or approximately-4 miles, you will see the FSU
football field and the University on the left at Langdon Street.

- Traveling East, Southeast from Greensboro, Chapel Hill,
through Sanford:
Approaching Fayetteville on Highway 24, continue through the town of Spring
Lake.
As you approach Fort Bragg (just past Jersey Mike’s, the Biscuit Kitchen, and
Dunkin’ Donuts on the right), there is a major intersection with Highway
210/87.
Take the left turn on to Highway 210/87 which cuts across Fort Bragg. This
becomes Murchison Road as you enter Fayetteville city limits.
After approximately 8 miles, and at the fifth traffic light within the city
limits, you will see the FSU football field and the University on the left
at Langdon Street.
