"Your Success is their greatest focus."

StudentAs Christina Hoglen puts it, “I have a blueprint for everything.” Her planning paid off when she earned a scholarship from the Honors Program that covers tuition for four years. “In high school, I decided I would pay for my own education. A friend went to FSU and introduced me to the Honors Program. The scholarship was a great opportunity to stand on my own, so I made the commitment.”

Now Christina is majoring in mass communications and enjoying the benefits of her honors status such as writing for the Honors Magazine and forming strong social connections to classmates who are "like family." Ask about her career path, and she has a ready answer. "I want to work for newspapers and magazines and then eventually establish my own magazine."

The Honors Program will help get her there. "The program and the professors challenge you. Your success is their greatest focus. They mentor you and push you to your limits. That’s what will make me a better writer and prepare me for the future."
