Orientation for New Transfer Students

...will help you plan your schedule of classes and make sure that the classes you register for are appropriate for your program.  Please click here for advisor locations; you should contact the appropriate office directly to schedule an advisement session.  Please make sure, before meeting with an advisor, that a) your initial transfer evaluation is in the system (review transfer evaluation information) and that you complete profile examinations, if required of you (review profile examinations information).

Important Advisement Notes:

  • If you transfer in fewer than 30 credits, you must complete UNIV 110, University Studies.

  • If you transfer in fewer than 60 credits, You must complete PHIL 110, Critical Thinking. 

  • If you have served or are currently serving in the military, you are exempted from the Health/Physical Education requirement.  (You must submit appropriate documentation to the Director of Admissions to receive this credit.)
