Testing for New Transfer Students
You must complete profile examinations if you do NOT meet both of the following conditions:

You have earned 30 or more transfer credits and
-
you have earned at least six hours of university-level English and six hours of university-level mathematics.
For students required to take them, profile examinations results are used to advise you for your semester at FSU, especially in the areas of English and mathematics. Please call University Testing Services 910-672-1301 to make an appointment to complete the profile examinations.

If you are not exempt from taking the profile examinations, your registration will be delayed until you complete them. If you're in doubt about whether you meet the conditions for exemption, you should complete the exams to avoid potential delays in registration.
