FSU Regulations on Enrollment
  1. Class attendance alone does not constitute proper enrollment, so make sure you are properly registered for each class you are attending. Your Banner for Students account shows your official registration. You must be registered for a class to earn a grade and credit for it. Remember: if an instructor issues a registration permit for a class, you must still complete the on-line registration process.
  2. If you decide that you do not want to attend the university, you may drop all of your classes via the Banner for Students until January 17 to avoid being billed for the semester. After January 17, you must withdraw from the university to withdraw from all of your classes. You may receive a partial refund depending on the date of your withdrawal.
  3. After January 17, you may withdraw from individual classes. A “W” will appear on your transcript for the course. No adjustment in tuition is made for withdrawal from individual classes.
  4. Make sure you attend all classes in which you are enrolled. If you do not wish to attend a class, it is your responsibility to withdraw from that class or you may receive a failing grade.
