Captain Alycia Lascek serves as Operations Flight Commander for Detachment 607, in addition to serving as Test Control Officer and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. As an instructor for 100- and 300-level Aerospace Studies, Captain Lascek is responsible for educating and training officer candidates on fundamental Air Force doctrine and Air Force leadership. In addition, Captain Lascek provides officer candidates practical leadership experience as well as field training experience, emphasizing physical fitness and officership in preparing future officers for active duty.
Captain Lascek was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 2009. She has served in a variety of leadership roles including flight commander, assistant officer in charge, and program manager.
