Jonathan Chestnutt

Biography

Jonathan Chestnut, M.F.A., Assistant Professor of Visual Arts, received his Masters of Fine Arts from the Memphis College of Art in Memphis, Tennessee. His professional experience is in Photography and Computer Graphics, as well as 3-D Modeling. Before joining the faculty of Fayetteville State University, Professor Chestnut worked as a graphic artist for Booz, Allen and Hamilton, a government contract group under which he designed publications for the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense. He has also worked for Belk Advertising, designing periodical advertising as well as internal company materials. Immediately prior to his present position with Fayetteville State University, Mr. Chestnut served Cumberland County Schools for five years in the capacity of Art teacher for Kindergarten through fifth grade.
