the following information when you submit your

the missing info before creating the site.

Students
If you are a student taking an online or
web enhanced course at FSU using Blackboard, visit the Student Help
section to help you get started.
To login to Blackboard, you will need to
use your AD (Active Directory/Network) account as your user name,
and the assigned password. If you don't know your AD account, you need to go to the Student Account LookUp.
Check for the
Current Semester/Session's Courses, by "Availability." If
a course site is set to "Unavailable" then no student is able to
access that course. Faculty determine when a course should be
available.

Login FAQs For Online Courses Only - Registered
Through Continuing Education
I am able to successfully login but
when I try to enter my course I get the message "Access
Denied". What should I do?
This message means that the instructor needs to make
the course 'available' and you will need to contact the instuctor to make the course accessible to
you.
Campus Directory (Search for contact info for instructor.)
I registered for an online course
and I'm able to login to Blackboard. What if I don't see my course(s) listed
when classes are scheduled to start?
Call the Blackboard Helpdesk number
at 672-2085 and ask if your name appears in the Blackboard course
roster. If it does appear, ask if the course is currently
"available". If the Blackboard course site is not available,
you will need
to contact your instructor to see when they plan to make the
course site available.
Campus Directory (Search for contact info for instructor.)
If you have recently registered for
the course, it may take a day before that information appears in
the Banner enrollment file (so that your account can be enrolled
in the Blackboard course site). The enrollment file is
normally run each morning between 8am and 9am.
I have taken an online
course before and I changed my password. Whom should I
contact if I forgot it?
I had a 'HOLD' on my
student account. Will I be able to still successfully
register for an online course?
Check Banner to
see if you have a 'hold' on your account, and what it is for, and
contact the department that issued the hold. You will
not be able to login to your course until this has been resolved.
