WELCOME

The nature trails at FSU go through some parts of the Fayetteville State University Biological Reserve.  The Biological Reserve is approximately nine hectares (22 acres) in size and is on the university campus on both sides of Big Cross Creek. In the Reserve you can find several kinds of habitats containing plants  and animals that are native to eastern North America.  The Biological Reserve will protect a small part of our natural heritage and provide an opportunity for students and future generations to learn about the ecoystems and organisms native to North Carolina.
