A Message from the Chair of the Department

The Department of Marketing and Business Education at Fayetteville State University enthusiastically welcomes you to our website. If you are visiting our site for the first time, are a current student, or alum, we appreciate your interest in the degrees we offer. If you are simply curious about Marketing and Business Education at Fayetteville State University, this site has been created with you in mind. You will find information about our school, about our degree programs, our faculty and our students.

I invite you to explore our Department through our website and to visit our beautiful campus in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The mission of the Department is to achieve excellence in teaching, research, and service. We seek to advance knowledge and understanding of the factors affecting marketing and business education and prepare students for professional and leadership roles in education and industry.

Our outstanding faculty composed of seven full-time, tenure-track faculty, one part-time instructor, and two adjunct instructors offers three undergraduate degree programs and will launch a Masters in Business Education in the near future. The three degree programs offered through our department are 1) Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, 2) Business Education, and 3) Marketing Education. In addition to our faculty, the department also employees one administrative assistant who is ready and willing to aid in your success at the University.
