Organization of the Year Award

The Organization of the Year Award recognizes the quality of leadership that an organization exhibits through its community service efforts and positive achievements and contributions to Fayetteville State University. Nominations are accepted through the Outstanding Club/Organization nomination process. The 4 recipients of the Outstanding Club/Organization award will automatically be nominated for Organization of the Year.

Criteria
  1. Must have been in existence at least one academic semester
  2. Must be in good standing with the University
  3. Must not receive University funding
  4. Must demonstrate the organization's effectiveness in meeting their stated mission and goals
  5. Must demonstrate a commitment toward the understanding and addressing of student concerns and needs
  6. Must provide innovative services, projects and programs
  7. Must prove a notable difference in the organization's membership growth, working relationship with faculty, staff or administration, and impact on the campus and surrounding community.
Outstanding Club/Organization Award

The Outstanding Club/Organization Award recognizes the club/organization within their respective category (honor societies, spiritual enrichment, departmental and general) that exemplifies outstanding campus and community service, campus leadership and organizational activity. The 4 recipients of this award will automatically be nominated for Organization of the Year.

Criteria
  1. Must have been in existence at least one academic semester
  2. Must be in good standing with the University
  3. Must not receive University funding
  4. Must demonstrate the organization's effectiveness in meeting their stated mission and goals
  5. Must demonstrate a commitment toward the understanding and addressing of student concerns and needs
  6. Must provide innovative services, projects and programs
The Broncos' Choice Award for Best Activity, Event or Program by a Club/Organization  

The Broncos' Choice Award for Best Activity, Event or Program by a Club/Organization  is determined by student vote. Nominations for this award will be made by each club/organization president and students will vote on the activity, event, or program they liked the best. The activity, event, or program with the highest number of votes will be recognized as the Broncos' Choice.

Criteria
  1. Presidents must submit the program that was the most successful, beneficial, and/or enjoyable
  2. Each club/organization president may only submit one activity, event, or program
  3. Must be a recognized club/organization by the Office of Student Activities
  4. Activity submitted must have been approved by the Office of Student Activities
The Broncos' Choice Award for Best Student Activities Council Activity, Event or Program

The Broncos' Choice Award for Best Student Activities Council Activity, Event or Program is determined by student vote. Nominations for this award will be made by the council and program director. A maximum of 4 activities, events and/or programs, excluding Welcome Week and Homecoming will appear on the ballot. The student body will vote on the one activity, event, or program they liked the best. The activity, event or program with the highest number of votes will be recognized as the Broncos' Choice.

Criteria
  1. Council and executive board members must select the activities, events or programs that were the most successful, beneficial, and/or enjoyable
  2. The Program Director may submit only 4 of the best activities, events or programs for voting
  3. A maximum of 4 SAC sponsored events can be submitted
  4. The activities must have been approved by the Office of Student Activities and Division of Student Affairs
The Broncos' Choice Award for Best Student Government Association Activity, Event or Program

The Broncos' Choice Award for Best Student Government Association Activity, Event or Program is determined by student vote. Nominations for this award will be made by the senate and executive board. A maximum of 4 activities, events and/or programs, excluding Welcome Week will appear on the ballot. The student body will vote on the one activity, event, or program they liked the best. The activity, event or program with the highest number of votes will be recognized as the Broncos' Choice.

Criteria
  1. Executive board and senate members must select the activities, events or programs that were the most successful, beneficial, and/or enjoyable
  2. The SGA President may submit only 4 of the best activities, events or programs for voting
  3. A maximum of 4 SGA sponsored events can be submitted
  4. The activities must have been approved by the Office of Student Activities and Division of Student Affairs
The Broncos' Choice Award for Most Spirited Bronco

The Broncos' Choice Award for Most Spirited Bronco is determined by student vote. Nominations for this award will be taken from the Bronco Pride web site and the top 7 nominations will be placed on the ballot upon university clearance (judicial and Student Affairs). The student body will select one individual who they feel demonstrates the epitome of Bronco Pride! The individual with the highest number of votes will be recognized as the "Most Spirited Bronco".

Criteria
  1. Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in the University
  2. Must be in good standing with the University
  3. Must attend and be supportive of programs and activities sponsored by the University
  4. Must demonstrate an appreciation, love, and respect for the University
  5. Must be the epitome of Bronco Pride
  6. Must be full of school spirit both inside and outside of the classroom
