How to Differentiate between Drop, Course Withdrawal, and University Withdrawal

 Drop - Drop ONLY happens during registration period.  A drop means that the course will not appear on the student's transcript, and the tuition and fees will be removed from the student's account with the exception of nonrefundable-application fees.

 Course Withdrawal - ONLY happens after registration period ends.  A course withdrawal means the courses will still be considered as attempted hours; the student will receive a "W" grade for the course and will be responsible for tuition and all fees. You will not receive a refund for tuition and fees when withdrawing from individual classes (aid will remain the same).

You must complete the withdrawal process when withdrawing from all the courses in which you are enrolled. You may be responsible for all or a portion of your tuition and fees.

 

ENSURE THAT YOU COMPLETE THE CORRECT WITHDRAWAL PROCESS BECAUSE YOUR FINANCIAL AID MAY CHANGE

 

Billing Statements

Billing Statements are sent out weekly electronically through BRONCO e-mail (pdf document).

 

 

Holds

If you have an Accounts Receivable hold you will not be allowed to register.  Holds can be reviewed by logging into Banner Self-Service.

Holds prevent viewing transcripts, access to grades, and registration.

Military Students Using Tuition Assistance

Military Students using Tuition Assistance (TA) to pay for courses. Though you have registered in banner for courses, you must also register using the GoArmyEd portal if you are using Military Tuition Assistance to pay for your courses. If you do not register through the GoArmyEd portal by the registration close date you will be responsible for your bill. The University may place a hold on your account until that bill is cleared. For more information, please contact your Army Education Counselor or Fort Bragg campus at (910) 672-2962. (TA covers tuition only, not fees.)
