STUDENT FEES DEFINED


All fees have been reviewed and approved by the UNC Board of Governors, fees are assessed to all students according to student status, Undergraduate or Graduate,  hours of enrollment, and class location, such as main campus, continuing ed/online, Ft Bragg, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, etc.

Athletic Fee 

Fee charged to students for provision of inter-collegiate athletic services and for maintenance and operation of physical plant facilities, including equipment, which are used in conjunction with these athletic services. 

Health Services Fee 

Fee charged to students for provisions of health and medical services and for maintenance and operation of physical plant facilities, including equipment, which are used in conjunction with these health services. 

Student Activities Fee 

Fee charged to students for provision of certain nonacademic student services and for maintenance and operation of physical plant facilities, including equipment, which are used in conjunction with these student activities. 

Educational and Technology Fee 

Fee charged to students for provision of specialized instructional supplies and service and for scientific and data processing equipment which are not directly related to specific courses.

Indebtedness Fee

Fee charged to students in accordance to the policy for the establishment of fees adopted by the UNC Board of Governors in 1993 and revised in 2003, fees for the retirement of indebtedness are established at the time debt is incurred.

Bronco Card Fee 

Fee charged to students for provision of the Bronco Express ID Card services and for maintenance and operation of physical plant facilities, including equipment, which are used in conjunction with the issuance of the Bronco Express ID Card.
