The Office of College Access Programs provides college access services that motivate and support students for preparation to enter and succeed in post-secondary education.

The Mission

The Office of College Access Programs mission is to encourage and assist youth who are traditionally under-represented in post-secondary education with preparation for, entry into, and completion of a post-secondary education.  We provide a broad range of high-quality college preparatory services to students, parents, and educators.


We expect that all students, regardless of their neighborhood, are capable of being prepared to enroll and succeed in college.

Send- a - Senior to College Supply Drive

The Office of College Access Programs is seeking support for the Send-a-Senior to College Supply Drive. The purpose of the Supply Drive is to provide Pell-eligible seniors who attend schools in Cumberland, Hoke and Robeson counties with supplies for a successful transition to college. Each senior from our target schools that have been accepted into college will be entered into daily drawings. Winners will be given a College Survival Basket with essential items needed for a successful their transition into college. Donation baskets will be set up in the Helen T. Chick building, Room 120, 130 and 216 B.
