Promoting World Peace and Friendship

"Life is calling.  How far will you go?"

Being a Peace Corps Volunteer is a life-defining leadership experience that will not only change your life and the lives of those around the world, but will also jumpstart your career.  Peace Corps Prep can help you get there.

Fayetteville State University (FSU) is proudly partnering with the Peace Corps to offer a customizable two-year certificate program called Peace Corps Prep (PC Prep) that professionalizes  students' education with marketable skills such as foreign language, intercultural competency, and an area of speciality backed by coursework and hands-on experience.  By completing program requirements as they earn their bacccalaureate degrees, students:

(1) Earn a Certificate of Completion from the Peace Corps that can be highlighted on resumes (regardless of career)

(2) Increase their competitiveness when applying for Peace Corps or other international development/service assignments

(3) Help ensure they have the knowledge, skills, experience, and confidence needed to succeed as young professionals, wherever opportunity leads them

Your service in Peace Corps can match your major or your passion!
