Grant Training Schedule

1/28/11

Several faculty members in CAS have requested assistance with grant writing. The need for external funding is critical now more than ever before due to the present budget cuts. The Dean is expecting faculty to actively participate in grant writing to secure funding to leverage different laudable projects and ideas that you have. For this reason, we have setup an online grant writing resource in the CAS website.

Dean Barlow is very committed to increasing the level of external funding for the College and he will be recognizing outstanding grant writers and recipients at the honors and awards ceremony.

The college will be conducting series of grant writing technical assistance workshops this semester. The first two sessions will be held on February 10 and 17 between the hours of 1:30pm and 3:30pm in 230 Lyons Science Annex.

Please, send me an e-mail if you are interested in participating the workshops. Note that space is limited and we can only accept 15 people per session.

Thank you.

Director of Research and Professor.
