About the Center

Entrepreneurship Center Overview

Located in the School of Business and Economics of Fayetteville State University, the Center for Entrepreneurship is on the move. The center is working to become a national hub for minority entrepreneurship and be a leader in entrepreneurship and innovation training.

The newly established Center is already equipped with the following program and activities:

  • Undergraduate Concentration in Entrepreneurship
  • Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (ELI)
  • Regional Economic Development Initiative
  • National Minority Entrepreneurship Education Program
  • National Business Plan Competition
  • Outreach Programs
  • Special Events, and
  • Research Initiative in Entrepreneurship

In addition, the Center has also created a state-of the-art entrepreneurial leadership lab. This specially-equipped lab combines powerful computing, effective display, and the wealth of information available through networks to provide a more flexible and exciting learning environment that accommodates different teaching and learning styles.
