Yasmine Aljuwani - Chancellor for a Day Program - First Student
Yasmine Aljuwani, a junior elementary education major from Charlotte, N.C., was selected as the first student to participate in Fayetteville State University Chancellor James Anderson's "Chancellor for a Day" program. Aljuwani was chosen from a pool of FSU students who filled out an application and wrote an essay expressing their desire to experience hands-on what Chancellor Anderson does during his workday as the FSU's chief executive officer. Aljuwani's workday with Chancellor Anderson was December 4, 2008.
