Open to Graduate and Undergraduate Students Enrolled at FSU

The program is designed to enable students to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day operations of the University by shadowing the Chancellor for one day. They will participate in all of the activities and meetings scheduled for the Chancellor.

Students interested in being selected "Chancellor for a Day" must send in a letter of application of no more than 500 words or less and include the following:

1. Why you want to be Chancellor for a Day.
2. Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher.
3. Demonstrate evidence of your leadership from participation in student or community organizations, or in the academic major.
4. Must give compelling factors to prove that you  are the best person to be Chancellor for a Day.
5. Include name, address, telephone number, email  address, academic major, and classification.

Student applications will initially be reviewed for the Chancellor by a Selection Committee which is comprised of members of the Student Government Association, faculty, and the Chancellor’s Office.

All applications must be in by the deadlines specified below:

January 21, 2011 to serve in February 2011
March 25, 2011 to serve in April 2011
