Fayetteville State University, Department of Performing and Fine Arts and FSU Theatre Company Presents Children of Eden Musical by acclaimed Broadway Writers

Fayetteville State University, Department of Performing and Fine Arts and FSU Theatre Company present a performance that was written by legendary theatre artists John Caird (Les Miserables) and Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Wicked), Children of Eden explores the Creation and Noah’s Ark stories with a fresh perspective, foot-stomping music, and a heart-rending story of family, love, and letting go.

Children of EdenFayetteville State University, Department of Performing and Fine Arts and FSU Theatre Company present a performance that was written by legendary theatre artists John Caird (Les Miserables) and Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Wicked), Children of Eden explores the Creation and Noah's Ark stories with a fresh perspective, foot-stomping music, and a heart-rending story of family, love, and letting go. Known for its soaring sounds that range from African to Gospel to contemporary Broadway sounds, Children of Eden follows Adam, Eve, Cain, Able, Noah, and his family as they navigate the triumphs and trials of making new worlds.  


Children of Eden will cast our FSU Theatre students and is directed by FSU very own Professor of Theatre, Jeremy Fiebig; designed by Professor of Theatre, Dave Griffie. Choreography by Leighton Galloway; assistant director, Donte' Francis; stage manager, Jatoi Sellers; assistant stage manager, Andrae Thomas. Cast includes: D-Nice Hoskins, Tariq "Turkey" Greene, Dominique Bacon, Ja'nya Knight, Destiny Cummings, Mariah Freeman, Veronica Colon, Karina Bass, Janiyah Young, Toya Graham, Yvonne Boone, Raine Williams, Jhibryl Hagan, Katrina Dana, Ericka Mitchell.

Everyone in the community is encouraged to experience a performance that is vibrant and full of excitement for the entire family. The performance is schedule for October 24th-26th, at 7:30pm; October 27th, at 3:00pm at Fayetteville State University, Butler Theater. Ticket prices for the event ranged from $5-$18 and group rates are available upon request.
