|EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND||A native of Bucharest, Romania, Dr. Alexandru Stana earned his M.A. at the University of Hartford, CT in 2007, and his Ph.D. at Bowling Green State University, OH, in 2013. During his graduate studies he developed an extensive research agenda with a focus on health communication in a media effects context. In order to pursue his research interest, Dr. Stana has gained expertise both in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, reflected in his doctoral dissertation which employs a mixed-methods approach.
Dr. Stana started teaching in the Department of Communication at Fayetteville State University in August 2013; previously, he taught at University of Hartford, University of Connecticut-Stamford, and Manchester Community College (CT).
