| PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE |
Phillip Boland has been recognized with over 25 awards and honors from film festivals throughout the world for his literature adaptations, music videos, documentaries, and screenplays. His most prestigious award was the Remi Grand Jury Award for Best Screenplay at the Houston International Film Festival. He earned his Masters degree in Film Directing from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. His education also includes a BA in English Literature, Film, and Photography minor from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Through his film company, Athens Entertainment, he produces and distributes literature adaptations to high schools, colleges and libraries. Currently, he helped write a multimillion-dollar film that is due out in Spring 2011 along with several feature screenplays and a television series in development. | |
