Professor Kenethia McIntosh earned an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland. She then went on to Indiana University of Pennsylvania to pursue her PhD in Criminology. Professor McIntosh’s dissertation focuses on the relationship between personality traits and crime.
Professor McIntosh also spends her summers teaching criminology to high school students in the Benjamin Wiley Partnership program in Pennsylvania. Her past experience also includes working at a Summer Treatment program (for children with ADHD, oppositional disorders and conduct disorders) as well as conducting behavioral treatment for juveniles
