Dr. Bonnie Grohe received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006. As a graduate student, she worked as a research assistant and as an adjunct professor teaching for numerous academic departments, including Criminology and Criminal Justice, Sociology, and the Center for Mexican American Studies. Her current teaching and research interests are crime prevention, fear of crime, corrections, community corrections, writing in criminal justice, and criminal justice administration. Dr. Grohe’s practical experience includes six years working as an adult probation officer in both Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas.
