Dr. Lori Guevara received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Her primary research and teaching interests include juvenile justice, gender/race and crime, research methods, statistics, criminological theory, and court system processing. 

Before receiving her PhD, Dr. Guevara worked as a residential counselor at a juvenile emergency shelter.
