The Praxis Series® Tests

Colleges and universities may use the Praxis Core tests to evaluate individuals for entry into teacher education programs. The assessments are generally taken early in your college career. Many states also require Praxis Core scores as part of their teacher licensing process.

Students seeking admission into the School of Education Teacher Education Programs are required to take and pass all three sections of the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators (Core) Tests* unless SAT or ACT scores allow exemption. Students must request that official scores be sent to Fayetteville State University, even if the test is taken at the Fayetteville State University Testing Center.

ETS's free webinars deliver in-depth information and demonstrations about ETS test preparation products and services.

Learn how you can ensure success as you prepare for teacher licensure. Each live session provides attendees with the opportunity to interact and ask questions, so we encourage you to participate. View the schedule below for more information regarding the live webinars.

The Praxis® test familiarization videos include important information you should know when preparing to take a Praxis test. Get study and test preparation tips, see walk-throughs of a testing center and watch a demonstration of what it's like to take a Praxis test.
