Fayetteville State University Emergency Management and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

The FSU Office of Emergency Management and EHS is a unit with the University's Department of Police and Public Safety, responsible for development and implementation of emergency preparedness initiatives, coordination of resources during disasters and other incidents, and the overall health and safety of the University community.
Mission: Promote the University's disaster awareness, prevention, mitigation, planning, response, and recovery programs. We help protect the lives and property of students, faculty, staff, and visitors of FSU, and facilitate the restoration of vital functions of the University to full working capacity immediately following an event. Promote compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and practices, through leadership, and education, in the areas of environmental and occupational health, safety, and emergency management.
