Securing the Future
Last summer, five students from FSU participated in internships at businesses located in the Raleigh-Durham area. During the course of their internships, students experience professional and personal growth as they get a head start in their careers and a preview of corporate America.Information sessions about INROADS and seminars are set up through the efforts of Career Services. Qualified students are later interviewed by an INROADS representative, but before an internship is actually offered candidates must interview with the company as well.

Major: Biology
Hometown: Sanford, NC
Location of Internship: Talecris
Position held: Clinical Research Intern
“This was my second year with Talecris. It was a helpful experience for me because I got a ‘real world’ preface of the competitive side of business. I recommend anyone who qualifies to apply for an INROADS internship because the company may try to find a permanent position for you when you graduate. Even if your major is not business administration, it is still a worthy experience.”
