Admission to an Online Degree-Completion Program

Admission to the University does not guarantee admission to an online degree-completion program. 

Follow the steps below to apply for admission to an online degree-completion program.

  • Declare or change your Major
  • Current students: Click the "Change of Major" link at the top of the page and complete the form.  Be sure to select the online degree-completion program in the "Select a Major" box. (Eg. Criminal Justice Online Degree-Completion)
  • New Students:  Click the "Declare Major" link at the top of the page.  Be sure to select the online degree-completion program in the "Select a Major" box. (Eg. Criminal Justice Online Degree-Completion)
  • Submit the form

  • Declaring a major does not guarantee admission to that major
  • Please see the department’s website for admission criteria as these will differ from program to program
  • The processing time for the Registrar’s Office is 3-5 business days upon our receipt of acceptance from the academic department
  • Declare your major as soon as possible as priority registration for online courses will be reserved for students who have declared an online degree-completion major
