The purpose of the 2008 Campus Master Plan is to articulate a vision for the physical development and future growth of Fayetteville State University including recommended new buildings, renovations, additions to existing buildings and new open space improvements. The Plan will increase the capacity of the campus to accommodate a total projected enrollment of 7,629 students within the next 20 years and will require nearly $500 million in capital improvements. Priority projects are also identified for construction within the immediate six-year time horizon.
