Single Stream- 65 gal  New Retrofitted Trash & Recycling Can Pitch-in! Honors Hall

FSU diverted nearly 170 tons of other recyclables from the landfill in FY 2015 by recycling and reusing materials with our Surplus Property Program and cooking oil/grease with Sutherland's Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions! Our single stream recycling program diverted 37 tons.

We recycle lead acid batteries, printers inks and cartridges (Office Depot www.BusinessRecycles), tires, motor oil. Also, we recycle mercury containing-devices e.g. fluorescent lamps, ballast, HID lamps, thermometers thru Cleanlites RecyclingSouth. Yard wastes such as branches and other tree debris are chipped with our chipper machine and used for mulching around the campus.
