Blackboard is a web-based system that makes it easy for instructors to create course web pages and online activities. The most popular use of Blackboard is making basic course information and documents available on the web. Each Blackboard site has several Content Areas in which course materials can be organized. Instructors can rename or remove these Content areas, as well as create new ones. The default content areas are Course Information, Course Documents, Assignments, and External Links.
Respondus 3.5 is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard. Exams are created offline in a familiar Windows environment and the software provides many time-saving tools, such as the ability to import existing exams from word processor files.
