Fire Science
About the Program
The Fire Science program at FSU has been specifically designed to provide high quality and pertinent higher education opportunities to all current and future, volunteer and career firefighters throughout North Carolina and the Southeast region. This design incorporates several unique features including a working fire station on the FSU campus. This fire station houses Engine 14 and Rescue 14 and has the capability to house up to 21 fire science students for active response internship experiences.
