Five FSU Department of Elementary Education Students Have Secured Teaching Positions

The Department of Elementary Education is proud to announce that five out of seven program completers have secured teaching positions, and many will begin before the end of the holiday break.

Elementary Ed GraduatesFour of the graduates will be working in Cumberland County Schools: three at Bill Hefner and one at Cliffdale Elementary. The Birth- Kindergarten completer will be working in Richmond County. Additionally, our Master's in Reading Education graduate will continue to teach English as a second language online to elementary students in China.

The Department of Elementary Education takes pride in preparing knowledgeable, reflective, and passionate teachers who are prepared to implement rigorous instruction that impacts the lives of those they teach.
