The University’s new emergency campus communication system is known as BRONCOalert. BRONCOalert will send university-generated email and text messages in the event of a campus emergency. You are automatically enrolled to receive emails that will be sent to your FSU email address.

However, you must sign-up and provide a cell phone number that is 'text message capable' in order to receive text messages. The phone number you provide will not be shared or published; it will only be used in the event of an emergency. There is no charge for this service; however, standard text message charges apply.

Enter the 10-digit cell phone number you want to use to receive BRONCOalert text messages. Enter a dash (-) after the area code and after the prefix (Example: 910-123-4567). Be sure the number you enter is a cell phone number with text messaging capability.*
