- Learning Community Proposal Form. FSU faculty may submit a proposal for consideration. Right-click on the link, save the file to your hard drive, then complete, and send to the Dean of University College.
- Learning Communities Blackboard Site: All FSU faculty are enrolled in a site that allows posting and exchange of ideas about learning communities. (If you find that you are not enrolled, contact John Brooks.)
Past
- Learning Communities Workshop (Thursday, May 19, 2005, 1:00-5:00 p.m., Chancellor's Dining Room). This was a hands-on workshop for FSU faculty interested in creating a learning community. The facilitator was Dr. David Schoem, Faculty Director of the Michigan Community Scholars Program, a nationally acclaimed learning community and service learning program at the University of Michigan.
- Learning Communities @ FTCC: Fayetteville Technical Community College has developed a strong and growing Learning Communities initiative. Members of the FTCC Learning Communities Team presented on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 12:30 in the Chancellor's Dining Room:

Living-Learning Community Links
FSU is expanding and deepening its learning communities initiative by incorporating a residential experience into selected communities.
- The Residential Learning Communities International Clearinghouse: Sponsored by Bowling Green State University. Includes links to many examples of living-learning communities.
- The Learning Communities National Resource Center: Evergreen State College pioneered learning communities and hosts the website of the National Learning Communities Project.
- The Directory contains 88 examples of living-learning communities. Search the Directory for structure/model = residential living/learning community.
