The first steps you take on any journey are often the most important.  You will probably not make it to your destination if you do not take the right first steps.  FSU's "First Steps with the University" will help ensure that you take the right first steps on your journey toward a university degree.

First Steps with the University

First Steps at the University is a one-day program that provides you with information and acquaintances that will help you take the right first steps with Fayetteville State University.  At First Steps you will meet current students, faculty and staff members; complete profile examinations; and meet with University College faculty members to plan your schedule of classes for the upcoming semester.  By the time you leave the university for the day, you will know the classes you will take during your first semester.  Representatives from the Office of Student Affairs, Residence Life, the Business Office, and Financial Aid Office will be available to assist you.

First Steps at the University is designed exclusively for students who have been admitted to Fayetteville State University.  The program is required for all first-time freshmen and optional for transfer students.   To help us prepare for your participation in First Steps, it is important for you to register for the appropriate date.
