Testing: All first-time freshmen must take the profile placement exam. Transfer students with six (6) credit hours of English composition and six hours of college-level math are exempt. will test
exempt

The First Steps Program will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at @ 4:00 p.m.

Students attending the First Steps Program are asked to bring no more than two family members in addition to the student.  Due to limited space, seating cannot be guaranteed for more than two family members.


Lunch: We encourage all students and families to enjoy lunch in the FSU Dining Hall to get a "taste" of FSU campus life.  The cost is $4.75 per person for a buffet lunch, payable at the door.  Please indicate the number of people in your party who will be eating in the dining hall (including yourself).
