winners of the Women’s History Month (WHM) student essay contest will be
announced on Tuesday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m., before the Chancellor’s concert,

Jerry Monroe was appointed by Secretary Chertoff of the Department of Homeland
Defense to serve on the Office of State and Local Training Advisory Committee.
He will serve until 2011.
The
FSU family would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Ann
Hickman, mother of Criminal Justice Professor Melissa Barlow.
Ann Hickman's funeral was held today at Elloree United Methodist Church in
Elloree, SC.
