FSUBRONCOS.COM is Now Webcasting!

from Lamont Hinson, Sports Information Office

The FSU Sports Information Office will be webcasting Fayetteville State University (FSU) football and volleyball games this season through the FSU athletic website, www.fsubroncos.com.

A webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology.  Just as a broadcast may either be live or recorded, similarly, a webcast may either be distributed live or recorded.  Essentially, webcasting is “broadcasting” over the Internet.  This technology has been tested during the off-season with student-athlete introductions from the football and volleyball teams.

The Lady Broncos volleyball scrimmage against Cape Fear Community College of Wilmington on Wednesday, August 27th, at 6:00 p.m. and the Broncos football season-opener versus NCCU on Sunday, August 31st, at 4:00 p.m. will be the first contests webcasted.
