Office
Due to the renovations on the 2nd floor in the W.R. Collins building, the
Payroll Office will begin relocating to Smith Hall, 1st floor, on February 7,
2008. The payroll staff telephones and e-mail access will be temporarily
disconnected during the move. The Facilities department anticipates completing
the move no later than Friday, February 8, 2008. All phone and e-mail
services should be back in operation by Tuesday, February 12, 2008.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is pleased to announce the
opening meeting of the Fayetteville State University Student Chapter of the
Association for Women in Mathematics on Monday, February 11, at 5 p.m. in the
SBE Building, room 114.
The founding members are Rebecca Smoak (president), Charlese Gibbs (vice
president), Sarah Johnson (secretary & treasurer), Kimberly J. Gilchrist, Xin
Li, and Dr. Nicoleta Bila (faculty advisor).
Any undergraduate student who has an interest in mathematics is encouraged to
