Renovations in Collins Building

from Jay Blauser, Facilities Management

Construction crews are scheduled to begin renovations in the Collins Administration Building this week.  The code-compliance upgrade work will involve renovating all restrooms and fireproofing improvements to the corridors, which will affect areas in the Human Resources and Student Affairs’ suites, as well as the inter-departmental mailroom/storage room.  The work will be occurring after business hours throughout the project, but once started the restrooms will be out of service. Restroom facilities are available in the adjacent Barber Building.  Please exercise caution, and follow construction signage and barriers while in the Collins Administration Building.

We regret any inconvenience caused as a result of this campus facility improvement project.  Your continued patience and cooperation during this period is greatly appreciated.  Please direct questions/concerns to Jay Blauser at extension 1954.

In Memoriam

The FSU family would like to extend our deepest sympathy to family of Linda Saunders, office assistant in Facilities Management.  She lost her mother on yesterday, January 1st.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time.  More information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.
